I launched Julia Kay Boudoir seven years ago with the goal to create a fun and welcoming environment for every woman who steps through my door. My mission is to ensure each client feels comfortable and at ease, allowing me to produce stunning works of art that reflect their inner beauty.

The Level Up Boudoir Workshop will be held at Julia Kay Boudoir’s industrial and glamorous boudoir studio inside the Historical Packinghouse in Claremont, CA.

WORKSHOP DETAILS
Level Up Your Boudoir Business!
These 2 days will be PACKED with intense yet FUN learning.
Day 1 will be mostly a classroom environment going over business, marketing, and sales strategy – including our “No Stress IPS” system. We will also cover post-production, workflow, and photo critiques.
Day 2 will be hands-on training with live models. You’ll learn how Julia consistently uses light and shadow to create her signature look and mood. You’ll also learn her Kinetic Posing technique to capture the perfect moment. We’ll be joined by a petite and plus-size model so you can learn techniques on how to pose and accentuate different body types and help to build your portfolio.
While this workshop will be intense, it will be so much fun! Lunch and snacks will be provided on both days of the workshop. At the end of day 2, Julia will be taking all of the attendees out to celebrate with dinner and drinks!

HOW MANY ATTENDEES FOR THIS WORKSHOP?
8 seats are available for the workshop. This is a VERY limited opportunity to learn how to either start or take a boudoir business to the next level!
DO I NEED TO BRING MY CAMERA GEAR?
Yes! We will be shooting models on Day 2. Bring your gear so you can take what you’ve learned and put it into action. You will also have awesome images to take home and add to your portfolio.
IS THERE LODGING NEARBY?
Yes. Casa 425 is a beautiful boutique hotel and it’s right across the street from the studio. Another great option is the DoubleTree which is close as well. Consult your favorite travel site for more options.
WHAT IS YOUR NEAREST AIRPORT?
Ontario International Airport (ONT) in Ontario, California (Not Canada, lol) is only 8 miles away. LAX is 50 miles away, by all means fly into ONT, everything you’ve heard about LAX is true. It’s awful.
IS THIS WORKSHOP OPEN TO LOCAL PHOTOGRAPHERS?
Unfortunately, no. This workshop is NOT available for anyone within a 100 mile radius of our studio in Claremont, CA.
WILL THERE BE ANOTHER WORKSHOP? WILL THIS BE RECORDED?
Not sure. We are putting a lot of work together to prepare for this workshop and as of right now, this is the only Level Up Boudoir Workshop we have planned. This workshop will not be recorded – this is a hands-on workshop only.
